A SCHOOL BY THE SHIV NADAR FOUNDATION

Our Vision

To empower students to be thinkers, doers, learners and changemakers in a caring environment. Our students will be steadfast in their values, enabling them to navigate a complex and ambiguous world with resilience and compassion.

Who we are?

The Knowledge Habitat is a chain of progressive K–12 institutions under the visionary leadership of the Shiv Nadar Foundation. Designed to support each stage of a child’s development with clarity, care, and purpose, we blend academic rigor with emotional safety—ensuring that students are steadily anchored as they grow in independence, curiosity, and confidence.

Across all campuses, we uphold a shared educational vision, delivered through a rigorous curriculum, structured co-curriculars, and sustained teacher guidance. Every element is intentional. Every outcome is earned.

Built on a legacy of excellence, the school embraces a child-centric, experiential approach to learning that fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The Knowledge Habitat provides an environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world application through projects, field trips, and collaborative activities.

With a strong academic foundation complemented by arts, sports, and life skills, we aim to develop well-rounded individuals prepared for the future. The Knowledge Habitat prepares students not just to succeed in school, but to meet life with clarity, capability, and purpose.

Academics

We follow the CBSE curriculum, thoughtfully enhanced to promote curiosity, collaboration, and intellectual ownership. Structured yet dynamic, our academic model aligns seamlessly with our “Explore. Excel. Evolve.” guiding principle—focusing on steady, measurable growth that prepares students not just for exams, but for life.

Community Service

Driven by their passion to make a difference, our students have initiated and led a variety of community-focused projects. From organizing tree plantation drives and waste segregation campaigns to restoring historic sites, they actively identify local issues and work toward practical solutions.

Enthusiastic Grade IX and XI students took the initiative to clean up the historic Sinhagad Fort, rolling up their sleeves to help preserve its beauty for future generations. Grade IX students also experienced the true joy of giving as they came together to donate clothes, food, and stationery to NGOs—spreading warmth and care to those in need.

In another initiative, students organized a flea market for a social cause, with the entire amount raised donated to Maher Ashram, Pune, an NGO supporting underprivileged children. Many others continue to collaborate with local NGOs to run health awareness programs, arrange fundraising events, and volunteer at community centers and shelters.

These self-motivated efforts stem from a genuine desire to give back, while also fostering valuable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. Through their actions, our students demonstrate that civic responsibility and compassion are not just taught—they are lived.

Student Opportunities

At The Knowledge Habitat, we see ourselves as more than just learners; we are explorers of our passions and talents.

We actively participate in a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities that help us discover what excites us, whether it is sports, art, music, or something else. Through Model United Nations (MUNs), TEDx events, debates, and other platforms, we challenge ourselves to think critically, communicate confidently, and lead with purpose.

Every initiative we engage in teaches us the value of teamwork, healthy competition, and collaboration. For us, learning truly goes beyond the classroom, shaping not only our skills but also our perspectives and preparing us to engage with the world as confident, compassionate, and globally minded individuals.
