THE BEST SCIENCE PROJECTS ARE THE ONES THAT YOU CAN EAT !

The students of Grade IX extended learning of ‘Cells’ by making edible models of plant and animal cells. The models of cells were made of cakes and pizza and cookies and the cell organelles were candies, biscuits, dry fruits and chips.

This enhanced their understanding of the cell structure and the difference between a plant cell and an animal cell and the structure and the functions of the cell organelles.

The activity triggered the creative corners of their brain and at the same time the learning and retention of conceptual and theoretical knowledge of the students were made strong.
