Events provide a platform to our students to showcase their talents and energies both at the academic as well as creative fronts. An event is nothing without the efforts of a sincere and diligent team working together. Our students and staff are full of innovative and progressive ideas. Hard work and preparedness go a long way and can be seen at the various events being held at The HDFC School and preparing our students to be leaders in the 21st century.

Taekwondo Workshop

“The right of self-defence never ceases.”

On the 13th of August, 2022, a workshop on Taekwondo was conducted at The HDFC School, Bengaluru, for parents.

Taekwondo is more than a sport or an activity that is pursued by physical fitness. It is essential to understand to defend oneself when the need arises. As our students have a great exposure to this form of martial arts we decided to branch it out to the parents as well.

Parents indeed had a wonderful time learning the basics of Taekwondo and they did sweat-it-out with the instructor.

Preliminary tricks of self-defense were taught to the parents and they actively participated in enthusiastically performing each step.

Any form of Martial Arts is training in agility which eventually comes with regular practice and so the parents were urged to continue practicing their takeaway from the day.
