CBSE WORKSHOP – Inclusive Education

Date of event: December - 2022


Description :

A two day workshop on the topic of Inclusive Education was conducted on 19th and 20th December, 2022 on the campus of The HDFC School, Bengaluru, by CBSE for teachers.

The Resource persons were Dr. Manila Carvalho and Dr. Sujatha Girish.

The key highlights of the session were how to implement various accommodations and modifications in the classroom set-up. The trainers clearly differentiated between inclusion, exclusion, segregation and integration. They also touched upon the various facilities and accommodations provided by CBSE for children with special needs. The session was engaging and interactive.

The workshop led to fuller understanding of the challenges of ensuring the reliable implementation of including all students at all levels of teaching and learning process. It was overall a great learning experience.
