At The HDFC School, children learn how to interact with their immediate natural environment allowing them to think, question, and develop their inquisitive minds.

The month of June is dedicated to plants and the best way for children to learn and explore is through a nature walk. The children of UKG went for a nature walk and explored the various types of trees, and plants in their kitchen garden which were planted by them like fenugreek (methi), radish and betel leaves.

Children collected fallen leaves and used them to make a beautiful, leaf-printing craft. Not only was the activity fun for the children, but it was also interactive and it allowed children to utilize their gross motor skills and learn about various leaves and their patterns.
