Hopscotch Activity| The HDFC School, Bengaluru

“Great things are done by a series of small thing brought together”

A simple game of Hopscotch can train a child’s thought process and spatial awareness. Children become more aware of their actions and movements during the game. The thinking involved in playing this game could stimulate the child’s cognitive development and Bilateral Coordination. Hopscotch is designed to help children master their gross-motor skills by developing a keen sense of balance and footwork.

Keeping in mind, the benefits of playing hopscotch, The HDFC school, Bengaluru conducted the hopscotch activity for Grade -I children to make learning more fun. We truly believe that play way method can help a child in understanding and retaining the concepts well. Concept of ‘articles’ was introduced through this game. Children bubbled with joy as they played the game and thoroughly enjoyed the activity.
