“Freedom in the mind, faith in the words, pride in our hearts and memories in our souls…. Let us salute our nation on Independence Day!”
Our freedom fighters underwent countless sufferings to give Indians their freedom. 15th August is a day to remember and honour them. A special assembly was conducted with zeal and enthusiasm by the students of The HDFC School, Pune – Class III B on the occasion of Independence Day. Keeping in mind the patriotic mood of the occasion, the little ones wore tri-coloured clothes.
The assembly began with a brief introduction on the significance of this day, followed by current headlines. The whole country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence. Programs with the name of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav are being organized all over the country. The students highlighted the theme of this year’s Independence Day and spoke about Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav stating its importance and Prime Minister Narendra Modiji’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
To enhance this feeling of enthusiasm and patriotism, the students sang patriotic songs dedicated to our soldiers. Their dance performance on a patriotic song was captivating too.
The special assembly culminated with the singing of the national anthem.
